 Phillip Botha

Phillip Botha was born in 1947 in Westonaria, a small town west of Johannesburg, in South Africa.  He is a distant relative of the President of that country.

After graduating from the local high school, he was conscripted to the paratroop division of the South African Defense Force in Bloemfontein, where he served for two years.  Afterwards, he entered the gold mining industry and pursued a career as a geological draftsman, which eventually led to his becoming an architectural draughtsman.

Not wanting to spend his life working for an employer, he began his own building company. Due to his high standards of workmanship and close attention to detail, his business became a great success.

It was during this time that he met his beloved wife, Susan (Soekie).  They married and his son, Henning, was born, followed shortly by his daughter, Ansie, who is currently married to an American marine and living in the state of Washington.

The business sector beckoned and Phillip was able to build his small business into a million rand company. The entrepreneurial world is not always kind and Phillip suffered many losses. During this time of tribulation, God changed his life by revealing His Master Plan to him in a wonderful and mysterious way.

His first book, God's Secret to All the Nations, was extraordinarily well received. God's Master Plan is the more advanced and extended version.

Currently, Botha continues to write and is involved in building and development projects.  He also owns a business in the retail and micro-finance industry.  He recently was blessed when he became the proud grandfather of his son’s daughter – Leanne, a small miracle whom he fondly regards as his “angel.”
